Our client, a dynamic logistics company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial operations, including operating budgets, monthly reporting packages, tax filings, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage operating budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Develop monthly reporting packages, including financial statements, variance analysis, and key performance indicators.
Handle tax preparation and compliance, working closely with external tax advisors when necessary.
Conduct regular financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to maintain financial records and streamline processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably in logistics or property accounting.
Strong knowledge of operating budgets, financial reporting, tax procedures, and reconciliation.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel for financial analysis and data management.
